National Education Policy 2020 ,Very good and interesting changes , less stress and new reforms in education system

The New National Education Policy 2020 (NEP) has been approved by Union Cabinet. This New Education Policy is a big step in the right direction. For 34 years country needed a New Education Policy which reflected the changes that the world around us had seen. Most of the people are putting their thinking cap on Education Policy 2020. The people are happy with the new changes in the new policy because after 1986, in 2020 happened so with various new things . To implement New Education policy was BJP’s polls promise. HRD Ministry has been changed to education ministry now.

Let’s understand what is New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is :

1. In New Education Policy the 10+2 structure of school curriculum is to be replaced by a 5+3+3+4 curricular structure corresponding to ages 3-8, 8-11, 11-14 and 14-18 years respectively.

2. In first 5 years , there will be 3 years for pre primary and class 1 and 2 which will be foundation stage in which children will be taught basic things like reading writing etc. Class 3 to 5 will be to teach them language , math, science . Till class 5th they can study in any mother tongue or regional language whatever they chose.

3. 3 years from class 6 to 8 will be the middle stage. In which students will be taught vocational courses as well. They will be taught coding. They can even do internship, like if someone is interested in painting or creative in mechanics , he/she can go to any painter, mechanic or carpenter to learn practical things and that will be given in your score card. This is so interesting. Thereafter class 9 to 12 4 Years will be higher stage of schooling. Exams will be in semester.

Stream system to be abolished :

Stream of disciplinary system will be abolished in new education system. Anyone can read any subject as per his interest and wish. There would be no hindrance now. Like before if anyone from science stream, he/she couldn’t have read history or economics , but in New education system, even if you’re doing physics honours and you have interest to read history, you can read it. There would not be streams like Science,Arts & Commerce in new education Policy.

Multiple Entry or Exit for any course :

For college education or bigger institutions there will be a CAT exam for admision. In college education there will be multiple entry or exit for any course. For example if someone doing B.Tech or simple graduation and due to some reason or financial problems he/she has to drop the education Just after first year, in this scenario his/her one year will not be wasted. He/she will be given a certificate. If he drops in two years , he will be given a diploma and if he completes his total duration of course, he will be given the degree.

If someone drops his studies just after first year and he comes to complete his education again after the gap of two/ three years, his one year will not be wasted, he can start his study from 2nd year because there will be a digital credit bank to be set up where your credit will be saved and when you’ll be back that credit will be used.

M.Phil out , MA one year course :

Graduation course (B.A) will be of 3 years or 4 years. If you have to do a job after graduation, then it will be of 3 years but if you want to do research after graduation it will be of 4 years. Then you can do your post graduation (M.A) in one year. M.Phil has been scrapped. After MA you can do P.hd .

UGC and AICTE will be merged and all higher educational institutions will be govern by only one authority. Same content will be taught in all the institutions across the country. There will be capping in fees for private colleges.

The educational institutions will focus on students’ practical and application knowledge. They will try to make students innovative and creative with analytical thinking. The syllabus will be reduced to core knowledge of any subject only.

These are the major changes to be done in the New Education Policy 2020 will really sounds good and intersting. The govt have increased the education budget from 4.6 to 6% of the total GDP. But still have to do much Because we know that what is the condition of government schools in the country. To implement this Education Policy first have to be improved and reformed our schools. This New Education Policy is going to change our next generation Because it’s going to break a traditional and old policy with new reforms.

Most of the people who are impacted by Covid-19 heading towards mental health crisis like Depression & Suicidal tendency

We know that Covid-19 is a real nightmare for those people have been badly effected by it. Crores of people have been unemployed and secluded by Covid-19 in India. Doctors are warning that it can trigger the cases of anxiety, depression and suicide in the country in a large number.

There are few people I have interacted who lost their jobs in March due to Covid-19 and they are still unemployed. They said there was no new job in the market right now. They have been searching for jobs for four months since when they lost their jobs, but they haven’t got success to find new jobs. They’re compelled to live in the face of insurmountable odds.

Jeet(Changed name) said that he was working in an MNC, Gurugram but he had lost his job in March due to Covid-19 . He has been unemployed for four months. Every day he searches for jobs on different job portatl but he has not got any job yet. He is in stress and said that he’s heading towards depression now. There are 5 members in his family. He was the sole earner of the livelihood of the family. He has two school goer kids . He has to pay the EMI of home loan & credit cards. School fee of kids has to be paid. School threatens that if he doesn’t pay fee for so the called online classes of his kids ,they will be thrown out and their online class will be stopped and their names will be cut off. Bank is giving moratorium but they will charge the interest rate of three months moratorium equals to one month’s EMI. “What shall I do in this situation, Sometimes my mind stops working”, said jeet. “The govt is not for the people like me who is totally helpless, what can I get the benefits of 20 lakh crore package of the govt “, he questions.

Kumar one of my best friends who became the father of twins in April, lost his job in April itself. He was working with a media house but his company fired him without any intimation giving the reason of Covid-19 . His twins were born premature so they had to be kept in ICU for two months in a hospital. One day of hospital cost was equal to his a month salary. It was the biggest insurmountable situation for him at that time when he had no job and he was passing through this phase. For Sometimes he was also Depressed thinking how to tackle the situation but he is of very positive attitude. Anyhow he got a way to tackle that problem and got over it. But he is also still unemployed. He always keeps positive attitude.

Sonia was working with a Company in Gurugram . It her first job. But due to Covid-19 her company fired her in April. “I was Depressed, I could not eat and sleep well thinking of my future, I have not got any job yet, I was very afraid and Depressed here so went to my hometown”, said sonia.

There are thousands of people like Jeet, Kumar and Sonia who have the similar stories and who are going through the toughest situation of their lives due to Covid-19.

As per data around 12 crore people had lost their jobs till April in India. According to indian psychiatri society survey, after Covid-19 in india around 20% cases of mental illness has increased and in every five one indian is effected by this . Psychiatrists feel that further worsening situations could lead to severe mental health issues, even triggering suicidal tendencies.

Job loss, financial crisis, social seclusion are main reason which are triggering depression, anxiety and suicidal tendencies. These people do not have much expectations from the government as well. Because they know that for these middle class or salaried class people who have lost their jobs and are in stress and anxiety , will not get any kind of help. The ones who have been unemployed for four months and not see any silver lining right now, the govt should help them because haplessness will lead them to depression and anxiety. Govt should take some steps for these people as well because they do not have hope from anywhere right now.

If you are having suicidal thoughts, or are worried about a friend or need emotional support, someone is always there to listen.

God never shuts all the doors. Always be positive and think that this tough phase will also pass and there will be a new dawn .

Our India is ready for the first human clinical trials of Covid-19 vaccine

When the Covid-19 positive cases are increasing very fast in India, a ray of hope for vaccine is risen because our country is ready for first human clinical trials of Covid-19 vaccine named COVAXIN.

The indigenousm vaccine has been developed and manufactured by Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the National Institute of Virology (NIV).

The Drug Controller General of India , CDSCO, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare granted permission to initiate Phase I & II Human clinical trials after the Bharat Biotech results generated from preclinical studies, demonstrating safety and immune response. Human clinical trials are scheduled to start across India in July 2020 and likely to launch on August 15th if everything goes fine ,said ICMR.

We hope for the best this time that it will be successful because the graph of Covid-19 is growing faster in India. We are on the third rank of highest no of cases of Covid-19 after America and Brazil. India will very soon touch the no of 10 Lac because everyday around 20K new Covid-19 cases are coming and around 500 people are dying due to Covid-19. This is the average ratio. However, the recovery rate is very good in India it’s around 60% . But the impacts of Covid-19 on normalcy is still severe.

There are other companies too which are working on war footing and doing research on vaccine. Zydus Cadila’s DNA plasmid and measles vector vaccines as well as Serum’s codon deoptimised live attenuated vaccine, which it is developing with Codagenix, are still in the pre clinical stage, according to WHO. We thank these companies who are working to save human beings. Praying for the success of all the trials of the vaccines against Covid-19.

Is the burden of Indian economy on the shoulders of Petrol & Diesel – How will it impact an already Covid-19 effected common man

It seems the burden of economy is on the shoulders of Petrol & Diesel. The govt has been hiking the prices of petrol and diesel consecutively for 18 days and it seems to be continued. In stead of hiking prices everyday, the govt should hike whatever they want at one go. In Delhi, the petrol price has risen more than Rs. 8.30 and Diesel price has risen more than Rs. 9.46 in last 17 days. Today Diesel price is higher than that of petrol. Diesel is around Rs.80.00 and petrol is around Rs. 79.50.

Source: Global Petrol Prices

Sadly, the petrol & diesel prices in India are very high. It’s around Rs. 80.00 per litre. Do we expect the fuel prices would ever drop here ? The government has put 64% of taxes on oil. State governments are also putting huge VAT on petrol and diesel. The people are angry over this. Many took to social media to express their concerns about the hike in prices.

People are raising their voices against the everyday hike of prices. I think it’s required to oppose Because the government thinks of her revenue only but what about public’s grief. State governments are also levying huge taxes on petrol & diesel. This is going to help in increasing the prices of everything everywhere. Inflation will increase. There are around 13 crore people who have lost their jobs due to Covid-19. They are running their families anyhow. Everyone’s income is badly effected due to Covid-19 pandemic. In this condition, govt should give some relief to the public, but the govt sucks. When crude oil was 200$ per barrel in 2008 the petrol price in india was Rs.64 .00 per litre. But when the crude oil is 42$ per barrel today, the oil is Rs. 80.00 per litre. This is too much.

The middle class and the common people are just  mere votes for any government, they are just squeezed by irrespective of the governments. We should not get ourselves trapped in the swindle of any government. Any government first thinks of her treasure then thinks about public. A common man whose job is lost and how he/ she is surviving in this situation when the household commodities prices are skyrocketing , it does not make any difference to any government, because you’re just a vote for them because you’re salaried class or middle class. No rich or any politician of any party will be effected by price increase but only the middle class and the poor.

Covid-19 and rising superstition on Coronavirus in rural areas of India

All the world is afraid of Covid-19 pandemic. There is still no medicine or vaccine of this pandemic. Scientists of the world are working on war footing to discover the vaccine or medicine of Coronavirus. People are keeping themselves aware about this disease and being careful owing to the fear of Covid-19. But during this pandemic Superstition has also begun in many parts of India.

Recently , I read a news that a maulana named Aslam used to kiss his followers’ hands to protect from Coronavirus and keep the virus away. He himself died of Covid-19 and gave infection of Coronavirus to his 29 of other followers in Ratlam district of Madhyapradesh.

According to information from the Health Department, so far 85 people have been found infected in Ratlam district, Madhyapradesh. The administration has nabbed all such baba’s and maulanas and kept in quarantine.

Women worship Corona Mai in Bihar

Almost in every part of India we are hearing news nowadays also that women are worshiping “Corona Mai” mostly in rural areas. Women offer 9 Ladoos , 9 cloves and nine flowers in an empty farming land while worshiping Corona Mai to pacify her and to make her happy. While worshiping the women sing songs and say “Go Corona Mai”. There are reports of sacrificing the lives of hens and goats to make Cororna Mai happy at some places. This is happening in Bihar, Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Assam even in south india I have read.

What a bizarre superstition ! Aren’t there some people in every village or society who can stop all these nonsense and their idiotic activites.

If there are people who are doing so and becoming superstitious, that means they are not aware about this Coronavirus. They don’t have complete knowledge of Covid-19. These people should be made aware about it and should be told not to do such superstitious things. No, Maulana, no baba or worshiping can save us from Coronavirus except medicine or vaccine. People have to maintain social distancing, wash hands with soaps, wear masks, don’t go outside or create crowd etc which only can save us from Covid-19 at present situation. These things needs to be done. Even in villages In every family, there may be youths, students and educated persons who can make their elders understand and try to make them aware about Covid-19 if any family member is superstitious and involved in such idiotic activites. Please don’t spread superstition, try to stop it .

We can imagine a progressive society only when there is awareness, logical and intelectual development along with education in every section and area of the society. I think that people living in the rural background of the village are also alert and clever and do not accept such orthodoxy ans Superstition because originally, I am also from a Village. Wherever such Superstition is happening , the concious residents of the place should at least convince such people and give them correct information so that such people stay away from Superstition. It is necessary for the moral and intelectual development of our society.

If Assam can set up agro production companies to deal with unemployment & generate revenue due to Covid-19 crisis, why not Bihar?

I read somewhere how Assam is using agriculture for a huge source of revenue for the state. The State has generated a good revenue through agriculture in 70 days’ lockdown period. The state earned around 357 crore by horticulture during lockdown by exporting vegetables to other states apart from fulfilling own requirement. That is a positive news and sets an example for other states whose income is based on agriculture.

Chief Minister of Assam, Sarbananda Sonowal

The chief minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal has decided to set up Farmers’ Producers Company in the state for ramping up agricultural production, collection and ensuring linkage with the national and international markets. That is a very good step taken by him. Farmers’ producers Company will be set up in each district of Assam. In order to ensure supply of certified seeds to farmers, the Chief Minister instructed for setting up at least one seed distribution centre in every district. He also asked the department to prepare a detailed action plan for capturing the market of entire Northeast region along with the local markets. This is a very appropriate plan which will give strength to the farmers.

He appealed the youths of his state to take interest in horticulture and farming. Agriculture can be the new avenue of being “Atam Nirbhar”. Scientific process, innovations and modern technology will make it more easy and productive. The farmers’ producers company will provide employment to 500 people in each district. Such innovative plan is good for the States whose bigger source of income is agriculture. It should be adopted by other States too.

I would like to recommend this to the government of Bihar. Because it would be beneficial for farmers there. But it’s up to the leaders Bihar. Because it is all about the will power of the local leadership how they want to develop their local areas no matter from which party they belong to. Leadership of the state of any political party which is in the power matters a lot. This depends on the chief minister and his ministers of the state how they are handling the issues of of the people and how they are going to put the state on path of progress by providing the solution of unemployment, education, health, infrastructure and above all the poverty.

Chief minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar

Currently all the migrant labourers of Bihar have returned home. It’s time for the state govt to encourage them towards agriculture. Provide, innovative and scientific method of horticulture. Like Assam govt did. Nitish Kumar should also announce to set up farmers’ producers company in each district which will ramp up agricultural production, collection and ensure linkage with the national and international markets and it will also employ people from each district. If something like this is done in Bihar, it will be a milestone. Youths must be motivated and encouraged by the govt towards agriculture so that they get inclined towards it and would use scientific methods and innovative ideas in farming and horticulture.

New Zealand is the first country to become Covid-19 free in the world – How did they defeat Coronavirus ,Can India do so ?

How would you feel when you hear that your nation is covid-19 free ? I would feel like jubilant and would be so happy if this curse is gone. The people of New Zealand feel the same and celebrating this victory over Covid-19 because New Zealand has become the first country to defeat coronavirus. New Zealand has no active cases of Covid-19 now since February. They have drop covid-19 restrictions after nation declared virus free.

The prime minister of New Zealand jacinda Ardern said, ” New Zealanders would live in a country “where life feels as normal as we can in the time of a global pandemic”

Jacinda Ardern

Jacinda Ardern says she ‘did a little dance’ when she heard there were no cases of coronavirus left in the country. What a leadership ! Ardern has drawn global headlines and praise from the World Health Organization for her government’s approach to the virus, with a strict and cautious approach that appears to have paid off. On 25 March she locked down the country for four weeks requiring that most New Zealanders remained at home most of the time before gradually easing restrictions.

The population of New Zealand is around 50 lac. New Zealand had reported just over 200 confirmed cases when the government shut down the country, and the total number of diagnosed instances of the virus never topped 1,500.  Only 22 people died of Covid-19 in New Zealand. Such low ratio ! They handled it greatly.

The people of New Zealand followed the lockdown properly. They supported their government. New Zealanders had massively reduced their movements. according to Google data, people had stayed at home more than residents in Australia, Britain , India and the United States had.  This is result of cooperation of the people and government that they’re in jubilation today.

Worldwide , the confirmed Coronavirus cases passed 7 million. The current figure stands at 7,006,436. At least 402,699 people have died in the global pandemic so far till June 9,2020.

In India, the confirm Coronavirus cases are 2,56,611 out of which 1,24,430 have been recovered. 7,200 have been deceased. The situation of India is getting deteriorated day by day because everyday we’re getting around 10,000 cases and it’s increasing fastly. Meanwhile, the govt of India has announced to unlock everything in different phases. What will be the impact ?

There is no medicine or vaccine have been discover yet of this pandemic. Only way to defeat coronavirus right now is social distancing and staying home. But if the governments are reopening everything like temples, churches, mosques, Gurudwaras, shopping malls, restaurants and all the public places, they will cause to increase the graph of of Coronavirus cases in India highest. If government thinks of her revenue and economy and putting the lives of public at risk , this is unfortunate. We know economy is necessary and it has to be revived , govt should do something else and use some other ways for this so that public is not effected directly. Cooperation between government and people also require to tackle this problem like New Zealand handled it.

All about a WOMAN :

* When she is quiet, millions of things are running in her mind.

* When she stares at you, she is wondering why she loves you so much in spite of being taken for granted.

* When she says I will stand by you, she will stand by you like a rock.

Never hurt her or take her wrong or for granted.

This blog should reach to every woman to make her smile and to every man to make him realize a woman’s worth in his life. In every family there are women whether they are sisters, mothers, wives devoting herself to taking care of her loved ones. They do not need much, just a bit of appreciation, recognition and above all love and respect.

On third Sunday in September is celebrated as “wife appreciation day”. So, On next wife appreciation day don’t forget to appreciate your wife for her work which she does home more than you do in your office.

Cycling can save Environment,Keep you fit, ironically Atlas cycle shuts factory on World cycle day

Cycling is eco-friendly

Cycling is good for our Nature because it can save environment. It can be an easy means of transportation which would be eco friendly. If we start cycling for going to our offices , Schools, Market etc. If we want to make our environment green, we have to choose to ride cycles for many different reasons; it could be to save money on the commute to work, for fitness, or to visit a friend in the neighborhood. Regardless, the choice favorably impacts the environment several ways, in addition to reducing carbon dioxide and global warming.

Environment saviour

There are several other benefits of riding Cycle :

Reduces Global warming- cycling reduces carbon emission . A car driving an average of 12,500 miles per year will expend 11,450 pounds of carbon dioxide as per Environmental Protection Agency.

No need of more roadways – While we may not be ready to trade in our car, every day we stay off the roadway reduces the need for our space. If others also choose to cycle some days, there wouldn’t be need for our ever expanding highway system. That means more trees, more open space, and fewer resources needed to build the roads.

Improve IAR quality – according to Environmental Protection Agency different means of transportation causes 35% of carbon emission . Cycling is a zero emissions way to get from place to place; as a cyclist, you will definitely appreciate clean air and contribute to save environment.

Help you to stay fit – cycling can help us to stay fit because when you do cycling your heart, blood vessels and lungs all get a workout. you will breathe deeper, perspire and experience increased body temperature, which will improve your overall fitness level. 15 minutes to cycling, to and from work will burn 11 pounds of fat in a year. Cycling is impact free and easier on the body than running.

Despite so much of benefit of cycling no government promotes it . Ironically on the world Cycle day , one of the oldest cycle Companies Atlas shuts it’s Ghaziabad factory and laid off around 700 workers.

Workers protesting

In the country like India where population is around 135 crore, where we see crowd in every bus, metro trains and public transport, govt must promote the means of transportation which should be environment friendly and which can be owned by anyone easily. In this condition govt must act and give some kind of help to such Cycle companies who are shutting their factory due to no revenue generation. Govt , ministers should set an example by going office by Cycle to promote it to save our environment.
